Four days of scientific activities, eight simultaneous rooms, symposia across 13 specialty areas, and the participation of international scientific societies will make ICR–CCR 2026 an outstanding academic meeting.

Pre-congress courses

May 14 2026

On May 13, 2026, as a prelude to ICR 2026 - CCR 2026, two intensive courses will be held. These courses will offer participants a high-level academic experience led by expert instructors, through theoretical sessions and case studies in small groups. One of the courses will be conducted in partnership with the International Skeletal Society (ISS), and the other will be jointly organized with the European School of Radiology (ESOR).

ISR-IAEA Scholarships for ICR 2026

The International Society of Radiology (ISR), supported by the the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), will award a limited number of scholarships to encourage and facilitate attendance to the ICR 2026.

Satellite symposia

The origins of an international society dedicated to the use of X-rays in medicine date back to 1925 in London, England, when the first in a series of international radiology conferences organized by national radiology societies was held.

Today, the International Society of Radiology (ISR) has evolved into a federation uniting national and continental radiological societies from around the world. Its mission is to support and coordinate the global efforts of its member organizations to improve patient care and population health worldwide through medical imaging and image-guided interventions.

Colombian Association of Radiology

The Colombian Association of Radiology (ACR) is the scientific and professional organization that represents medical specialists in radiology and other professionals involved in diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology in Colombia.

Founded in 1945, it is a non-profit corporation that seeks the personal and professional growth of its members through the provision of continuing medical education services, publications, scientific production, consulting, among others, to promote the development of the specialty of radiology and diagnostic imaging.

European Diploma in Radiology

On May 16th, 2026, within the framework of the congress, the European Board of Radiology (EBR) of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), in agreement with the Colombian Association of Radiology (ACR), will perform the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) exam. The EDiR is an international certificate of excellence endorsed by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the European Society of Radiology (ESR). More information at: myebr.org
