Diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology are dynamic fields that continue to evolve rapidly. ICR 2026 - CCR 2026 will be the ideal setting to explore the latest research and innovations shaping the radiology of today and the future.
Presentation Modalities
There will be two (2) presentation modalities for scientific papers at ICR 2026 - CCR 2026:
Oral Presentation
Applies to original research papers, presentations of technological advances, and selected case series.
Digital Poster or Academic Exhibit
Applies to topic reviews, small case series, or single case presentations.
The call for scientific papers does not include the presentation of research protocols.
Categories of scientific papers
Original Research Paper: A study that begins with a hypothesis, which is verified or rejected through the application of the scientific method. It involves appropriate methodological design and statistical analysis in relation to the proposed research question.
Academic Exhibit (review Article): A review of a topic or a presentation based on the authors’ experience in a specific area of radiology or related specialties. It may include historical topics or non-medical applications of radiology and its subspecialties.
Case series: A description of a group of cases representing the authors’ experience in a particular area of knowledge, which may suggest original approaches to a clinical or technical problem or serve as a foundation for future studies.
Case(s) report: Description of a single case or a small series of cases that do not require statistical analysis and have a didactic orientation.
Important dates
The congress includes the presentation of research papers in both oral and digital formats. Oral presentations will take place during the thematic symposium sessions of the scientific program, while digital works (posters and academic exhibits) will be available through the event’s website.
Call for abstracts: October 15, 2025
Closing date for abstract submissions: January 25, 2026
Submission of accepted full papers and posters: March 25, 2026
